The
children of FRANCISCO LOCSIN and BLANDINA PICCIO are:
1. Teresa Piccio Locsin -
the eldest (died may 25, 1985 at the age of 90 yrs old)
2. Celso Piccio Locsin Sr. – Died in Murcia, Neg
Occidental.
3. Serafin Piccio Locsin - the third (died during the war.
Was arrested by the Japanese in Manila, incarcerated in Intramuros, and body
was never found. His wife died of breast cancer after the war in 1945. Tito
Rene and Raul were only 16 and 14, respectively when their parents died.
4. Claudina Piccio Locsin - the fourth child. She died of
heart failure when her children were in College in the 70s.
The
Children of Teresa "Tering" Locsin
married to Maximo Siscar (Lolo Maximo died when he was on his way to Iloilo
from Manila on a boat M.V. Corregidor that was blown up by a sea-mine off the
waters of Manila Bay at the start of the 2nd WW in 1940) Recently
I learned from a guerilla that the boat was loaded with ammunition and was
accidentally ignited. Their children are:
1. Eleseo “Esing” of “Elesing” L. Siscar - (now suffering
from asthma, a common ailment of the clan. Now 85)
2. Milagros L. Siscar - (living in Manduriao, Iloilo City.
Talked to her a month ago. Have difficulty in walking, have diabetes and
arthritis.)
3. Josefa “Sefa” L. Siscar (the mother of Manang Pilar and
Manang Lagrimas (who is now in Canada, still single, last time I met her was
in 1967 when I was in 4th year high school)
4. Vicente “Cente” L. Siscar (died of heart attack in
California, buried in Dumangas, Iloilo. Died while watching T.V.)
5. Hernando “Erning” L. Siscar
Sr. - finished his doctorate, and a
professor at the INLS/WVSC/WVSU, Iloilo City - (had asthma and died of
emphysema on March 1993 at the age of 67).
6. Margarita L. Siscar (died 6 years old) before the War.
7. Teresita “Teresit” L. Siscar – residing in Molo, Iloilo
City
8. Maximo “Junior” L. Siscar Jr. – residing in Bacolod
9. Francisco “Fransing” L. Siscar – residing in Molo,
Iloilo City
10. Twins that died 3 months and 6 months old. Tito Eleseo
cannot remember their names. And in what sequence in the family they were.
Dad has mentioned about the twins to me a long time ago.
Lola
Teresa was 45 when lolo died. He died in the sea mishap in 1940 when the boat
he was in (MV Corrigidor) exploded at the exit of Manila bay, just after the
boat had left the port of Manila. She did not marry again. She always waited
for lolo to come home because his body was never found. So she seldom go away
from her house because she was hoping one day he would come, and he might leave
to see her not around.

to bring me there during summer vacation in the 50s and 60s.

Have
three children. Her children are in Negros but she is in New Jersey working.
Neng Grace Siscar Leysa had met her several times there.

1. "Edol" Pasigna - died in 1998. Have a child
named Anna (18 years old). Now married and a Nurse. I met Idol when I was 10
years old in Bacolod at their old ancestral house which was located near the
house of Tito Maximo Siscar Jr.
2. Cynthia P Pasigna married Chito Del Rosario of Bocaue,
Bulacan. Her children are: Brenda, 24 yrs old, (to take the board for
medicine in 2003), Karen and Regie. Karen is about to take the board for
medicine too this time (2005). Both have passed the board exams and are now
full pledged doctors of medicine. Both have married too as of 2005 and 2006.
